MWLC'S 100 YEARS OF WOMEN VOTING CAMPAIGN

THEN: THE RIGHT TO VOTE, NOW: THE RIGHT TO GOVERN

Suffragettes line the streets of St. Louis Missouri is a stare down of lawmakers. This event was called the Walkless, Talkless Parade.

On August 26th, 2020 our country will celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the women’s right to vote. Missouri women played an active role in the fight for the right to vote. Today the MWLC honors their work by continuing the fight but now the fight is for equality in governing. With your financial support, MWLC can change the ratio of men to women in state government from the current 3 male legislators for every one woman. With your help, the next 100 years starts now.

To celebrate the Missouri women who fought for our right to vote, contribute to our special fundraising drive to support women candidates in this year’s pivotal election. We are asking for $100 to celebrate that 100 years ago women won their fight for the right to vote. Your donation of $100, or any amount you give, will go directly to support our endorsed candidates. Generous benefactors will match the first twenty $100 donations.

Donations can be made securely online here or if you prefer to donate via check, please make the check out to MWLC PAC and include your occupation and employer, then send to MWLC c/o Jane Crigler MWLC President, 435 W. 9th Street, Apt 103, Kansas City, MO 64105.
